Product Marketing Manager (m/f/d)

As our first Product Marketing Manager, you will play an instrumental role in helping to define our product marketing strategy from scratch. Your objective will be to specify market positioning for each of our products and working with the respective departments to launch them within their key target demographics. You are expected to establish a tangible understanding of our target user base and work with the product teams in order to provide them with the ideal customer journey.


Responsibilities:

  • define the market positioning and key messages of group products and features together with the product and content teams
  • define "Ideal Customer Profiles", based on these value propositions
  • segment Ideal Customer Profiles into audiences by identifying patterns of existing demand as well as upcoming demand
  • gather and use available information in order to craft clear communication about the product, its advantages optimized towards different audience segments on all owned channels such as websites, blogs and/or social media
  • work with the Growth Lead / Director of Marketing to optimize the communication towards demand generation campaigns.
  • ensure communication regarding our products and their properties is uniform across all verticals within the organization.
  • create actionable recommendations based on market research, customer feedback, and data insights during the product development as well as its advertisement after launch
  • act as the key liaison between the product, marketing, and country teams in order to align product-related growth activities

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience in product/growth marketing
  • experience working with products at the launch stage
  • familiarity with working in B2B Marketing environments
  • excellent stakeholder management skills
  • ability to develop a deep understanding of customer insights in order to curate strong narratives around product value propositions in front of target segments
  • ability to convert data insights into communication (external and internal)
  • German language skills are a plus, not a must
